Date:12th May'08 Reach Nasik Road Railway Station (Nasik Station). Tip: You can take Gitanjali express, which leaves at 6.15am from Dadar Station (on central railway). From Mumbai its a 3hr.30min journey. You shall reach at 9.30am in the morning at Nasik station. There is only one exit way out. Come to the main road and tell the auto rickshaw to go to "Nehru nagar Gate no.2" Its Rs5/- per seat. A share rickshaw is the cheapest mode of transport. (Do not take the rickshaw from the bus stand as they charge exhorbitantly). Its 3.5kms from the station. Its situated within the St. Xaviers School Compound. Masses are at 6am, 12noon & 6pm daily. Thursdays there are Novenas followed by mass. There are 14 rest rooms for pilgrims. (on a first come first serve basis - no advance booking is allowed. Per day stay is Rs.100/- per head. Breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner is served for the resident pilgrims only. (I could not get the food as i had visited only for the day). The annual feast is celebrated on the third Saturday in the month of February. For others there is a Shalom guest house nearby. Other hotels for food are Curry & Spice, Lee's Fast food (on right hand side - 2 min walking distance)& Durga International (on left side - 4 min walking distance) Tip: Evening train back - Pushpak Express which leaves at 3.40pm from Nasik Station and you are at Dadar Station at 7.30pm sharp. Visit the shrine & you will be blessed, take your family along as it is the best holy place. For more information Contact - Church office - 0253-2415756. (8am - 6pm) Pray for me & my family, when you are there.

Deolali Camp is an important Indian military center. Deolali camp which is one of the oldest in India, is located 16 km away from Nasik. The center was set up by the British in 1861. An officer of the rank of Major General holds the position of the head of the Artillery school here. In the days of the British Raj, soldiers who cracked up under the stresses and strains of life in British India were invariably packed off to a military psychiatric hospital here to recover. Its name became synonymous with nervous breakdown; hence the English idiom "to go doolally", meaning to become insane or eccentric. Deolali market is famous for shopping. In the Temple Hill nearby, there is a famous temple of Lord Khandoba. As deolali is also known for its atomosphere which is been known the coolest place as it always 1c lesser than of nasik Clean And Green TRY to visit u'll love the place
