    Kunte Sir, a role model for any teacher, had been staying here. Sir retired from Rungta High School as Principal long back. But he had always been associated with the high school and many other educational institutions across the state of Maharashtra for many years even after his (official) retirement. He was a great mathematician and always loved to teach to others at the cost of his own precious time; that too without expecting any benefit other than the very love and dedication for mathematics. Hats off to him!!

    The oldest school in Nashik (1918). Legends such as Marathi writer Kusumagraj, Cricketer Bal Dani, Bapu Nadkarni were students of the this alma mater. Most of the core Nashik-kar's are associated with this great institution by some way or the other.
